Melchus Davis creates bold, expressive art that blends color, texture, and movement. From vibrant cityscapes to intimate figures, each piece captures both spontaneity and balance.
About the Artist
An accomplished painter and educator, Davis was one of the pioneers of the Visual Arts Department at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.
Davis also taught at Howard University as a adjunct faculty member. His works have been featured in galleries nationally and internationally with the US Departments of Arts in Embassies program.
